Capitol Hill Briefing Invitation: The American Working Class

In recent decades, there have been enormous changes in the structure and health of American families, which has led to declines in children's well-being.  This is especially true among lower-and working-class families.  The Clapham Group is working on behalf of their longtime client, the Annie E. Casey Foundation along with Senator Tim Scott's office and the American Academy of Political and Social Science to cosponsor this important Capitol Hill briefing that will explore family and cultural changes underway in America, and how they are related to the economic health of both the working class and the country as a whole. Policy approaches that support or hinder healthy families and child development, and a thriving working class will also be examined.
