MARK RODGERS, Principal

Mark Rodgers is the Principal of The Clapham Group, a company that seeks to influence culture upstream of the political arena. Mark served as the third-ranking Republican leadership staffer in the U.S. Senate for six years overseeing strategic planning and strategic communications. He also served as a high profile chief of staff to Senator Rick Santorum, working on Capitol Hill for a total of 16 years. He was known on the Hill for his work on such issues as poverty alleviation and global AIDS, as well as protecting life at its most vulnerable stages. Mark is a published writer and a speaker at large and small gatherings on the topics of faith and public life, culture and caring for the least of these. His work over the years has involved consulting with some of the largest foundations in the world, Fortune 500 companies, internationally known music artists and filmmakers, and even famous comic book creators. He earned a bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering from Penn State, and attended Trinity Episcopal School for Ministry. Mark is married to Leanne, and together they have four children and four grandchildren.

ANNA FRONZAGLIA, Senior Associate

Anna Fronzaglia is a Senior Associate at The Clapham Group. Specializing in influencer and communication strategies, cause-partnership building, and public policy, she mainly spearheads the group's family and child welfare portfolio to impact policy and the culture at large. Previously, Anna served for a number of years in the U.S. House of Representatives as a policy advisor and communications director. With a passion for languages, she speaks Spanish and French. Hailing from the Washington D.C. area, Anna is a Phi Beta Kappa member and Cum Laude graduate from James Madison University with a B.A. in Communications, specialization in public relations.

JULIET VEDRAL, Senior Associate

Juliet Vedral is an award-winning writer, communicator, and consultant with nearly two decades of experience in media, ministry, and faith-based advocacy. She has worked at organizations such as the New York Times Syndicate, Redeemer Presbyterian Church, Sojourners, and the ONE Campaign. Her writing has appeared in Sojourners and Word & Way. Juliet has served with the Clapham Group as an affiliate since 2017, working with the College Board, Cardus, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. She is a graduate of Queens College (CUNY) and Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA). A native New Yorker, Juliet now lives in Alexandria, VA with her husband and two sons and worships at Incarnation Anglican Church in South Arlington.

JONATHAN MARKGRAAFF, Associate

Jonathan Markgraaff is the Assistant to the Principal and a Client Associate at the Clapham Group. His aptitude for research and analysis is an asset for client landscaping as he continues to hone his craft of offering critical insights for strategic deployment. Before joining the Clapham team, Jonathan worked on the ad-buying side for the 2022 midterm elections with a bi-partisan portfolio comprising 57 campaigns. He has also been overseeing the operations for the faith-based think tank, The Institute for Faith, Works and Economics. With a diverse upbringing in the United Kingdom and South Africa, Jonathan received his B.A. in Economics and Political Science at Gordon College in Boston, MA.

Emily Mitchell, Associate

Emily is working on an internal Clapham initiative on the history of the original Clapham sect (William Wilberforce, Hannah Moore, etc.) and other inspirational historical figures via a graphic novel. She has previously helped Clapham serve various clients, including foundations and the College Board. She has a BA in Elementary Education and Art History from The College of William and Mary and an MA in Literacy Education from The University of Maryland (thesis on Visual Literacy).

Taking care of her six children (ages one to twelve) and homeschooling the four oldest keeps her busy. In addition to practicing her Catholic faith and spending time with her husband Peter and children, in her spare time (if there is any!), Emily enjoys reading, painting, cooking/baking, spending time outdoors, and catching up with friends.

JAY HAN, Operations & Events Manager

Jay Han is the Operations & Events Manager at the Clapham Group, designing and maintaining internal structures and systems to support the team. He has a track record of building up organizations aiming to bring about redemptive social change. In addition to his work at Clapham, he currently serves as the Operations Manager for Rosebrook Presbyterian Church, a church plant seeking spiritual, cultural, and gospel renewal in the D.C. Metro Area. Previously, Jay worked as the Communication & Data Manager for Cross Community, a non-profit that exists to advance equity and racial reconciliation in Montgomery County, MD. Jay earned his B.S. in Management Studies from University of Maryland, Global Campus.


LIBBY SCROGGINS, Communications Fellow

Libby Scroggins is the Communications Intern at The Clapham Group, contributing to the newsletter, website, and various media projects. A recent Cum Laude graduate of Wake Forest University, Libby holds a B.A. in Politics & International Affairs, Psychology, and a minor in Spanish. Her studies focused on public policy, data analysis, and decision-making psychology, honing her ability to analyze and communicate complex ideas effectively.

Driven by natural inquisitiveness, Libby explores diverse perspectives and challenges conventional methods. She is particularly interested in advocacy and consulting, and is eager to delve into these fields through her role at Clapham. Her background in youth ministry has fostered her appreciation for storytelling and finding common ground—skills she looks forward to applying in her work with the team.

KIP TATUSKO, Accountant

Kip Tatusko has served as the Accountant for the Clapham Group since 2017. His ever-vigilant love of details benefits not only Clapham, but his work with other clients including businesses in construction, non-profit, merchant services, commercial real estate, and think-tank spaces. He brings 10-plus years of experience in accounting, managing ongoing finances, and working behind the scenes to help small businesses improve and succeed. He was born and raised in Northern Virginia and received his Bachelors at UVA. He has now settled back in the D.C. area with his beautiful wife Abby and their three children. Kip loves spending his free time with them, running, or winning trivia (provided the topic is sports or Seinfeld).

  • Thann Bennett

    Thann Bennett is the Founder and President of Every Good Work, which exists to equip Jesus followers for a life of impact. Every Good Work serves individuals through The Equipped newsletter, and supports Kingdom-focused endeavors with high-quality strategic, creative, and advocacy services. Thann and his wife, Brooke, are co-Founders of A Fearless Life, which works to find and fund a family for every adoption-eligible foster child in America. Thann has more than 20 years of high-level public policy experience, with a particular focus on the U.S. Congress and the United Nations. He is the author of In Search of the King and My Fame, His Fame.

  • Phebe Meyer

    Phebe Meyer is the Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor for The Center for Christianity and Public Life. She has worked with major family foundations, including the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Rockefeller Foundation, and Annie E. Casey Foundation, building partnerships with conservative faith organizations and center-right political organizations to further economic opportunity and mobility policy issues.

  • Carlos Duran

    Carlos Duran is the President and Founder of National Hispanic Pastors Alliance, an alliance of Hispanic leaders of Christian denominations and organizations. His passion is bringing together faith, education, and social action to produce lasting community transformation. Carlos Duran was recognized in 2011 by President Obama and the White House as a “Champion of Change”, he is an ordained Pastor and holds degrees in Business Administration and Project Management.

  • Mandi Hart

    Mandi Hart is a filmmaker and attorney specializing in creative content development and intellectual property. She is President of MORE Productions, a culture-creation firm, and President of Cave Pictures Publishing, an independent publisher of spiritually resonant comic books and graphic novels.

  • Daniel Heffington

    Daniel Heffington is a storyteller, writer, and speaker for HSLDA Action (a national advocacy organization promoting homeschooling and educational freedom) and Generation Joshua (a national civics organization for teens) where he has led messaging, content, and communications strategies since 2013. Daniel also has a background in grassroots activism, parental rights advocacy, and has worked with numerous federal campaigns. In addition to his advocacy work, Daniel is a songwriter and recording artist. He regularly performs at clubs, conferences, summer camps, churches, and events around the US.

  • Kiki Bradley

    Katherine “Kiki” Bradley is a policy and strategy consultant with Chartwell Policy Solutions. She brings with her over 12 years of experience working for three members of the House of Representatives on Capitol Hill and serving as Presidential Appointee in the Bush Administration at the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) running the Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) program.

  • Nace Lanier

    Nace Lanier serves as the Director of Interfaith Chapels at Reagan and Dulles International Airports. He is the Vicar of the Clapham Group adding encouragement, perspective, and prayers. Nace is an executive coach with Focusing Forward Consulting equipping leaders to excel in the midst of storms and success.

  • Amy Simon

    Amy Simon is founder and owner of boutique consulting firm Simon Advisory. She most recently served as Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Employment and Training Administration (ETA) at the U.S. Department of Labor. Her portfolio, with over $7 billion in annual budget responsibility, included unemployment insurance, workforce investment, trade adjustment assistance, and ETA’s regional offices in Philadelphia, Atlanta, Dallas, and Chicago.

  • Mark J. Brinkmoeller

    J. Mark Brinkmoeller leads action of diverse organisations, communities and their leadership toward bipartisan support and implementation of successful advocacy, development, health and humanitarian work in the United States and around the world. He has had the privilege to work for and alongside Catholic bishops, Members of Congress, and Nashville music artists, leading advocacy organizations like Bread for the World and ONE as well as government agencies like U.S. Agency for International Development.

  • Nadine Maenza

    Nadine is the President of IRF Secretariat, where she is working to build infrastructure to grow the religious freedom movement globally. She is also a Senior Advisor at Patriot Voices, where she provides her expertise to shape the organization’s special emphasis on public policies that support working families. Drawing on her extensive network and coalition-building experiences, she has helped build unique coalitions on issues such as paid family leave, health care, tax reform, and international religious freedom.

  • Abby M. McCloskey

    Abby M. McCloskey is the founder and principal of McCloskey Policy LLC, a research and consulting firm serving business and political leaders across the country, including presidential and Congressional candidates, Cabinet-level appointees, Fortune 500 CEOs, and foundations.

  • Michael Wear

    Michael Wear is the Founder, President and CEO of The Center for Christianity and Public Life, a nonpartisan, nonprofit institution based in the nation's capitol with the mission to contend for the credibility of Christian resources in public life, for the public good. For well over a decade, he has served as a trusted resource and advisor for a range of civic leaders on matters of faith and public life, including as a White House and presidential campaign staffer. Michael is a leading voice on building a healthy civic pluralism in twenty-first century America.

  • Melissa Wear

    Melissa is the head of Public Square Strategies and its Principal Consultant. She brings with her over a decade of experience working in international settings on organizational strategy, program design and strategy, communications, business development, and relationship building. An expert in European Affairs and transatlantic relations, Melissa’s work on global issues such as religion and belief, violent extremism, international development, soft power, and arts and culture is broadly respected on both sides of the Atlantic.

  • Miguel Petrosky

    Miguel Petrosky is a freelance essayist, writer, and journalist who covers religion's influence on American and international politics and culture, and has been published with Sojourners, Christianity Today, Religion & Politics, and The Revealer. While also specializing in international relations and development, Miguel currently works at the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) as a Program Associate in the Africa Department. Miguel graduated from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, with a B.A. in Government. Miguel is an ordained ruling elder in the Presbyterian Church (USA) and is based in Washington, D.C.

  • Caleb Seibert

    Caleb Seibert was born in Waco, Texas and graduated from Baylor University in 2016. After serving for a year as a project coordinator for a refugee relief organization in northern Greece, Caleb returned to the United States to pursue a masters degree in public affairs from the LBJ School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas. After graduation, Caleb worked for nearly two years for the American Enterprise Institute, where he conducted research and writing on upward mobility, workforce development, and prisoner reentry programming. Caleb then worked for more than two and a half years in the United States' Senate, first as a Legislative Aide with Senator Josh Hawley and later as a Legislative Assistant for Senator Marco Rubio. During his time in the Senate, Caleb oversaw a policy portfolio covering financial services, tax, budget, welfare programs, family policy, housing, and trade. Caleb is now living in Miami, Florida, where he leads a new church plant.
